With Super Bowl 55 approaching, it’s time to start keeping an eye on which brands are planning to get in on the biggest advertising event of the year.
nitronet’s Super Bowl 2021 Ad Tracker is a one-stop shop for updates as brands announce their plans for the game, release teasers and reveal their full spots. We are tracking all the national commercials—and some notable regional ad buys as well—that will be running in the Big Game, which will air Feb. 7 on CBS.
Last year, Fox Sports had sold out its Super Bowl inventory by Thanksgiving. This year, CBS Sports still has plenty of inventory left, but it has sold out the coveted A positions, which are the first ad in each commercial break. CBS is currently selling ads at $5.5 million per 30 seconds, which is slightly lower than last year’s rate of $5.6 million per 30 seconds. However, to be included in CBS Sports’ livestream of the game, advertisers must pony up an additional $300,000.
